2. General Information on Data Processing

We process personal data only to the extent necessary to provide a functional website, to process inquiries, or based on your consent.

The legal bases are, in particular, Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR (consent), Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (contract/pre-contractual measures), and Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest).

3. Hosting

This website is hosted by STRATO AG (Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany). STRATO processes personal data as a processor under a data processing agreement.

Server Log Files

When you visit our website, the hosting provider automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files. This may include: browser type and version, operating system used, referrer URL, hostname of the accessing computer, time of the server request, and the IP address.

Processing is carried out to ensure stability, security, and error analysis (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). According to the hosting provider, IP addresses are stored for a maximum of seven days to detect and defend against attacks.

4. Cookies & Consent Management (Borlabs Cookie)

We use Borlabs Cookie to obtain and document consent for certain data processing activities (e.g., external content). In doing so, consent information (e.g., selection/status, timestamp) is stored to fulfill legal documentation obligations (Art. 6 (1) (c) GDPR) and based on our legitimate interest in legally compliant consent management (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).

5. Contacting Us

Contact via Email/Phone/Fax

If you contact us (e.g., via email, phone, or fax), we process your details to handle the inquiry and in case of follow-up questions. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (initiation/fulfillment of a contract) or Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in efficient communication).

Contact Form

If you send us inquiries via the contact form, your details from the form, including the contact data you provided there, will be stored for the purpose of processing the inquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (initiation/fulfillment of a contract) or Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

6. Google Maps (Only with Consent)

We integrate Google Maps on our website. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”).

Google Maps is blocked by default and will only be loaded after your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR). Upon activation, your IP address may be transmitted to Google; additionally, cookies/similar technologies may be used. Data transfer to third countries (e.g., USA) cannot be ruled out in this process.

7. Locally Integrated Google Fonts

We use fonts that are integrated locally on our server. In this process, no connection to Google servers is established, and no personal data is transmitted to Google.

8. SSL/TLS Encryption

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, this website uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the browser’s address bar changes from “http://” to “https://”.

9. Storage Duration

Personal data will be deleted as soon as the purpose of processing no longer applies and no legal retention obligations prevent deletion. We generally store inquiries from contact requests only as long as necessary for processing and as long as subsequent follow-up questions are to be expected.

10. Your Rights

Under the GDPR, you have the following rights in particular:

  • Right of access (Art. 15 GDPR)
  • Right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR)
